Cruising the Eastern Caribbean

Sailing for 7 day's with the Royal Caribbean, on the Oasis of the Seas ship.  We stoped at three ports. Saint Maarten, Puerto Rico and Laborde, Haiti

Watching our ship pull out of Fort Lauderdale from our balcony.

First day we walked around Boardwalk on the ship.  Yes I did say Boardwalk!  In addition to the carousel there are restaurants, arcade games, 2 rock wall's and an outdoor Aqua Theater.

There are 17 decks to this ship.  many of them have themes.  For example.  One deck is called the Sports Deck.  It has 2 full size basketball courts, miniature golf course with 9 holes,  6 ping pong tables, 2 wave pools and a zip line.

Another deck is called Central Park.  This deck is landscaped with large trees and garden like areas with a bridge crossing over the water. There are also restaurants surrounding the park.  The food is all you can eat, all the time.

There is a deck designated to all the pools a very large water park and hot tubs.  Not to mention the soft serve ice-cream is available all the time.

Zip Lining

Connor learning how to use a water board and boogie board.

First Port Saint Maarten.
We had a real good in Saint Maarten doing the Amazing Adventure Race.  It really gave us a look at the area in a new way.

Back to the Ship
Puerto Rico

Real pretty park but I have know idea what the park stands for because everything was written in spanish.

This wall was part of the fort and went all around the entrance of the island.  It looks  alot like St Augusine fort.

Laborde Haiti
I really enjoyed our bungalow.
This port was the Royal Caribbean Cruise lines private area.  It was totally fenced in to keep the locals out.  The security was in full force surrounding this area.

Royal Caribbean really went all out providing alot of activities.  They had a self driven roller coaster (meaning you have control of the brake and can go as fast or as slow as you like).

They also had a large water slide and a water park as well.
Back on the Ship with one more day at sea.
Connor and I took a Cupcake Class.  It was cute.

Alot of chilling out in the room.
