The Cisco Kid with his spoils

The Orange Tree that we have in our back yard has produced a lot of oranges early this year.  We were out this morning and picked most of them.  There are still some that are not quite orange.  I will pick them right after the first freeze.

Camping on the USS Yorktown

Since I am the Camp Master of our Cub Scout Pack, I always want to try to get in some adventure camping.  We also camp out in the woods but I feel like the boys need some special WOW moments.  We camped out on the USS Yorktown in South Carolina for one night.  They will always remember this camping trip for the rest of their lives.

Camping on the USS Yorktown was such fun for us all.  We were able to roam the ship and explore every level and compartment, from the engine room to the brig.

We went up there on Friday so we would be well rested for our full day of exploring the ship on Saturday.

The Cisco Kid had breakfast with some of his Cub Scout friends.

After breakfast we headed to the ship.

After they were given the briefing, The were shown the berthing area so they can pick their bunks.

On one of the Big Guns!
The Cisco Kid and his Cub Scout friends also enjoyed the BIG guns.
