This is quite sad that this is our last Den meeting as Cub Scouts. I am having the boys finish up on all their last minute items before our Blue & Gold Banquet in two days.
We finished the Arrow of light plaque last week and this week we are working on the arrow. The boys will put all their stripes on the arrow. The stripes signifies each rank advancement, awards & religious emblem.
The beads hanging from the arrow represents the Cub Scout 12 core values. The feathers represent Pack Colors.
Tonight we will finish one last science experiment to complete the Nova Award. The Chief has been preparing this experiment for a couple of months. It is creating different electrical connections and completing the circuit, by using mini fan motors, horn, lights & switches.
Well now all the boys have earned everything they could in six months. Here is The Cisco Kids Brag Vest.
The back is all the patches he got from some camp outs.
Now we have the Blue & Gold Banquet to attend and we will be official done with Cub Scouts.
