San Francisco and all it's glory

Today was a full day of Sightseeing.  First we went down the curviest road in the world, stood in the middle of the street to make sure I got great pictures.

It was so full of beautiful flowers that it was  hard to see the curves in the road.

We had to stand in the middle of the road again to get a great picture of Alcatraz.

After driving around the hills in the city, we went over to Fort point.  This is one of those landmarks that was built in 1853 on prime real estate for building a bridge.  When they could not tear  the fort down, they built the Golden Gate Bridge right over the top.

 The fog never lifted.
Our next stop was Stinson Beach.  It was a long walk down the mountain to get to the beach.  Once we were down there, it was so nice.  Even though the fog was over the Golden Gate Bridge, it still looked so nice.

I can never resist climbing rocks and taking pictures.

When we left Stinson Beach, we drove past the Presidio and stopped by the Presidio National Cemetery.   This is where all the veterans are buried
Next stop Pier 39.  The piers along Fisherman's Warf are really neat.  You can walk for miles and see so much activity.  This is a very strange bike. They had many different kinds and each one was stranger than the next. They had the best Farmers Market imaginable, Not only did the market have fruits and vegetables, they had a section with all different kinds of fresh cut flowers.  Every few hundred feet there were people playing instruments and singing.  Everything about this area is alive.
The Sea Lions are a great attraction at Pier 39.  They just lay around on the docks and bath in the sun. Usually there are dozens of Sea Lions laying around.  There were only six here today.
Last stop of the day.  Aquarium of the Bay.  This was a three story aquarium with water tunnels running through.
A bubble in the Tank for a fish eye view.

That's all of our activities for today.  Until tomorrow.
